I offer piano music performances that can add style and beauty to your special events and parties, whether big or small, private or corporate. My repertoire consists ageless classical and popular music which can create and enhance the overall atmosphere and add to the success of your event. A church hall, hotel suite, corporate or private party room, or a nursing home hall can serve as the venue.
I present programs for children of various age groups: Grade 1-3; Grade 4-6; Grade 6-8.
Themes: Introduction to Classical Music, Musical Fairy Tales, Basic Elements of Music for elementary and middle school children with the use of piano.
Solo performances for high school students.
Main focus of the presentations is to show students:
- how various elements of music are combined to create different moods and characters
- how in various kinds of music we can find reflection of our feelings and life experiences
- how composers use their creative techniques to develop our feelings and touch our hearts
- how music helps to open minds and intensifies the perception of the world
Programs:
1. Sergei Prokofiev "Peter and the Wolf"
is the bright
example of a musical
fairy tale full of life and humour. The composer wrote about his work:
"If one listens carefully, he can hear the duck quacking in the Wolf's belly,
because in a hurry, the Wolf swallowed it alive."
2.Saint-Saens "The Carnival of the Animals"
is one of the most brilliant,
witty and skilfully written works, where a parody alternates with a joke and poetic lyrics.
3.Pyotr Tchaikovsky "Album for the Yong"
is a collection of wonderful musical pieces
written specially for children and, with delightful poetics, depicting episodes of a
child's everyday life full of play and amusement, joyful and sad events.
4.Edward Grieg "Pierre Gynt"
is distinguished for its delicate musicality and elegance.
Using complex musical means, Grieg was able to express the intensity of moods and
feelings of the deeply poetical character.
5.Pyotr Tchaikovsky "The Nutcracker"
is a wonderful and interesting
Christmas musical fairy tale.
6.Pyotr Tchaikovsky "Swan Lake"
is based on a tale about romantic
love and beautifully presented by the music of the famous ballet.

 Sergei Prokofiev
One of the great composers of the Soviet era, Prokofiev lived through two revolutions. He was a gifted melodist with a unique musical voice, who wrote in a wide range of genres including operas, ballets, film scores, cantatas, and orchestral, chamber and instrumental works. He was also a brilliant pianist and conductor.
