My Teaching Philosophy
Larissa's Studio of Piano Music offers a unique educational experience. It combines a rigorous program of performance and study in a relaxed professional atmosphere, where students work closely with piano teacher.
My aim is to ensure that every student receives considerable individual attention, and to foster and develop their love of music.
I am always trying to encourage creativity in music-making, and achievement in piano performance and in music theory.
I always tailor the teaching and lesson plans to meet the student's unique needs. All my students are kept interested, inspired and stimulated during the interactive music piano lessons.
To me, quality teaching means concentrated one-on-one instruction.
Originality of my teaching method consists in continuous development of piano students' imaginative thinking and feelings and in achieving their harmonic expression in music performance throughout the whole course from the beginner to Performance level.
For advanced students, I offer an extended in-depth course on composer styles and performance interpretation.
